# MEASUREDVALUE.AI

> An index of primary research, analysis, and defined terminology for measuring the return on enterprise AI spend. Entries are tagged by what they measure: adoption, cost, or outcome.

Adoption, cost, and outcome are three different measurements. A tool that reports AI adoption is not reporting AI cost, and a tool that reports cost is not reporting outcome. Every entry on this site records which of the three its source measures.

## Why the same ROI number means opposite things
- 56% of CEOs report neither a cost nor a revenue benefit from AI (PwC, 29th Global CEO Survey, Jan 2026).
- $3.70 claimed return per dollar of AI spend, unreconciled against invoice (IDC / Microsoft, cited widely 2026).
- 95% of enterprise GenAI pilots fail to reach P&L impact (MIT, reported in Fortune, Aug 2025).
