About / Methodology
How entries are added, tagged, and verified.
MEASUREDVALUE.AI is an ongoing index of primary research and analysis on measuring the return of enterprise AI spend. Entries are sourced, dated, and re-checked on a set schedule. The site is free to read, requires no registration, carries no advertising, and accepts no payment for placement, ranking, or inclusion.
Adoption, cost, or outcome
Every research entry is tagged with which of the three it reports. The three are defined in the glossary. The tag is applied by an editor and is never self-assigned by a submitter, because the same headline figure can answer a different one of the three depending on the study's design.
Sourced and dated
Every figure carries its source and publication date, shown alongside the claim rather than in a footnote. Every entry shows the date it was last checked, and the check date updates whether or not the entry changed.
Method and scope stated
Each entry states the study's method, sample, and scope, and notes what it does not cover. Where research is commissioned, funded, or published by a vendor with a commercial interest in the result, the entry names the sponsor.
How contributions are handled
Outside submissions are accepted for the Research index only. Analysis and the Glossary are written and maintained in-house, so that definitions stay consistent across the site and analysis is accountable to a named editorial process.
Who this is for
Primarily CFOs, finance leaders, and the FinOps or AI-governance staff who report to them, assembling a build-versus-buy case or a board-level view of AI spend. Secondarily, practitioners and analysts researching the category, press looking for a current figure and a citable source, and contributors to a shared vocabulary effort.
Submissions
Publishers, analysts, and authors can submit a paper or report for the research index. Intake has two steps: a submission form collects the required fields, then an editor verifies and tags the entry before it goes live. The verification-status field shows whether an entry arrived through submission or was added editorially, so provenance is visible on every entry.
