Cost per outcome

The total AI and operating cost required to deliver one acceptable business result — a resolved case, a qualified lead, a completed workflow, an approved document.

A sharper unit than cost per token, because it prices the thing the business actually wants rather than a proxy for it. Almost nothing in this category computes it end to end; most tools that get close either stop at cost per request or accept a customer-declared outcome without verification.
