Glossary term
Use-case economics
The total cost of achieving a specific business outcome, measured per unit of that outcome.
Narrower than unit economics generally — it is unit economics applied to one named use case, which is exactly the level at which Pay-i's Value Policy and Paid's delivered-value formula operate. Neither of those figures generalizes across use cases without being reconfigured, which is worth knowing before comparing one vendor's "value" number to another's.
